Carnival Freedom

Itinerary

This spectacular sailing starts in Rome and visits some of the most amazing ports in Europe and the Greek Isles.

Europe Cruise itinerary.

  1. Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy - Enjoy the day seeing the best that Rome has to offer; relax and have lunch and explore the richest storehouse of art in the entire world - the Vatican Museums.
  2. Naples, Italy - Visit Pompeii in the morning and then travel to Sorrento, or Sorrentino, along the scenic and picturesque coastalroad of southern Italy before ending your day in Capri.
  3. Fun Day At Sea
  4. Marmaris, Turkey - No information yet.
  5. Izmir - Visit ancient Ephesus, considered to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Experience the contrast of the modern city of Izmir with the ancient Agora and the historical Archeological Museum.
  6. Istanbul - See exotic Istanbul’s sights; the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, and St. Sophia. Have lunch at the Byzantine Cistern restaurant and then explore this underground wonder of columns.Balcony Freedom.
  7. Fun Day At Sea
  8. Athens Experience the historical beauty of the ancient Acropolis and the Temple of Posionat Sounion, its archaeological Museum, the shopping haven of Plaka, a panoramic tour of the city and some Greek cuisine.
  9. Katakolon - Explore Olympia, the most sacred sanctuary of the ancient Greeks, as well as the nearby Olympia museum.
  10. Fun Day At Sea
  11. Livorno, Italy - Two enchanting medieval hillside towns in Tuscany await you, along with boundless countryside scenery and traditional Tuscan cuisine.
  12. Civitavecchia - Upon debarkation, drive to Rome and pass through the city of Eur, see the Basilica of St. Paul, St. Paul’s Gate, the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, the Forum, Colosseum and end with a drive to Via Veneto.
